Automatic gates take a beating, and when the sensors or safety edges quit working, somebody can get hurt or the gate just stops opening.

Dubya warrants its workmanship on gate work for 1 year from the completion date on the invoice. Workmanship means work Dubya performed: installation and repair labor, wiring and connections, mounting and hardware installation, and the adjustments Dubya made (limits, force, travel, alignment). If a covered workmanship defect appears, Dubya will correct it at no charge for labor or for materials Dubya supplied for that work. Repairs and parts outside this warranty are quoted separately.
Access devices. Gate Service Plan visits inspect, test, and service the keypads, card readers, and remotes/receivers on the gate system. The workmanship warranty covers those devices that Dubya installed or repaired. Batteries in them remain a wear item.
The workmanship warranty stays in effect for as long as the customer keeps an active Gate Service Plan (homes: 2 visits/yr; businesses: 4 visits/yr). "Active" means the plan is paid and current and scheduled visits are completed. The extension ends if the plan lapses or is cancelled, or a plan payment is more than 30 days late. If a scheduled visit is missed, the customer gets one reschedule within 30 days; if that visit is also missed, the extension ends.
Rejoining after a lapse. A customer who rejoins the plan can have their earlier workmanship coverage restored after a paid inspection. Anything found broken or defective at that inspection is repaired at normal rates before coverage restarts.
Operators and parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty, not Dubya's. Dubya will file the claim for parts it supplied or serviced; the part is repaired or replaced under the manufacturer's terms and decision. Examples from our supplier records: some Maximum Controls operators list 5 years on motor and components with the battery at 1 year; certain solar operators list 3 years on components; some accessories list 1 year limited or 5 years commercial / 7 years residential. Terms vary by model; check the manufacturer's warranty for your equipment for full terms.
Labor on a warranty part swap: No charge for active Gate Service Plan members.
Call (803) 855-1001 or email info@dubyallc.com with your name, address, and a description or photos. Plan members get priority scheduling with a crew within 24 hours. Dubya will inspect and confirm whether the issue is covered before billable work begins. Don't attempt your own repairs on a warranty item.
The warranty and any plan extension transfer to a new owner only if the new owner joins the Gate Service Plan. Otherwise they end at the sale.
Dubya's liability under this warranty is limited to repairing or correcting the covered work, or at Dubya's option refunding the price of that work. Dubya is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, property access, or business. This warranty replaces all other express warranties to the extent the law allows.

We don't service consumer/DIY openers like Ghost Controls or Mighty Mule.
